Magnesium aluminum dry furnace lining material

Magnesium aluminum dry furnace lining material

Refractory materials for casting

Aluminum magnesium dry furnace lining material is mainly made of corundum, magnesia sand, and aluminum magnesium spinel as raw materials, supplemented by composite sintering additives. The particle size distribution conforms to the theory of closest packing, and densification can be achieved by machine or manual compaction. Mainly used for melting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, as well as melting copper and copper alloys.

Detailed Introduction

Basic characteristics: The aluminum magnesium dry lining material is mainly made of corundum, magnesia, and aluminum magnesium spinel as raw materials, supplemented by composite sintering aids. The particle size distribution conforms to the theory of closest packing, and densification can be achieved by machine or manual compaction. Mainly used for melting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, as well as melting copper and copper alloys.

Characteristics: It has good thermal shock stability, volume stability, and high high-temperature strength, and can maintain a stable sintered layer, semi sintered layer, and loose layer of the backing during use. The most suitable steel alloy for operating temperatures in the range of 1600-1720 ℃.

During high-temperature use, aluminum magnesium dry ramming materials react with corundum and magnesia to form stable spinel phases, which have excellent resistance to slag and metal erosion and chemical reactions. They also have high temperature, stable volume, strong heat shock resistance, and do not stick to slag. The sintered layer of long-life corundum spinel dry ramming material has high strength, which can maintain the looseness of the backing and prevent the steel from piercing and penetrating to the maximum extent during cold furnace start-up.

Technical parameters:
